Auto Enhance

This analyzes the overall brightness and contrast of the picture and automatically adjusts the enhance values to obtain the best image. It is particularly effective with under-exposed (dark) images.

Manual control

You can alter the brightness, contrast, color saturation, or sharpness of your photos by dragging the appropriate slider. If the Auto Enhance isn't quite right, just adjust the slider as required. As you drag the sliders the picture is updated.

Compare

Clicking the compare button will revert back to un-enhanced original picture. Click it again to restore the enhance settings.

Notes

• The Auto Enhance will not improve all pictures. It is not recommended for certain types of image, for example snow scenes or night shots. The Auto Enhance will often over-compensate for such images. Use the manual enhance controls instead.
• To make a picture black & white enter a value of -100 into the color field (you can only drag the slider to -50).
